Mr. Loewer is a 1976 cum laude graduate of Middlebury College.
He served as a Practice Development consultant with Comprehensive Accounting Corporation from 1980 – 1984 and as a General Manager with Comprehensive Business Services from 1984 – 1987.
In 1987 he formed Loewer & Associates in Laguna Niguel, California and has managed the firm for over three decades. In 1999 he relocated his practice to Weybridge, Vermont and now serves a nationwide business and personal tax clientele from the Vermont location as well as an Appleton, Wisconsin office.
In 2012 he was appointed to the newly formed Vermont Tax Advisory Board and the Tax Technical Workgroup by Mary Peterson, Commissioner of the Vermont Department of Taxes.
In 2013 Mr. Loewer was elected to the National Association of Tax Professionals national board of directors.
